Ganesh & Saraswati Puja is one of the most prominent festivals in India. People of India eagerly wait for this festival throughout the year. According to the Hindu calendar, Ganesh falls on the fourth day of the lunar solar in the month of Bhadrapada, and Saraswati puja on the fifth day of the spring festival on a full moon day in the month of Magh.
Pooja and Havan are performed by Brahmins on the day of puja. The idol of Lord Ganesha and Saraswati is consecrated in homes, schools, colleges, pandals etc. At the end of the puja, Pushpanjali is given, after this everyone can consume Prasad.

ଓଁ ନମୋ ଗଣେଶ ବିଘ୍ନେଶ ଗିରିଜାନନ୍ଦନ ପ୍ରଭୁ
ମମ ବିଘ୍ନ ବିନାଶୟ ଗଣାଧିପତୟେ ନମଃ ॥

କଜ୍ଜଳ ପୂରିତ ଲୋଚନ ଧାରେ,
ସ୍ତନଯୁଗ ଶୋଭିତ ମୁକୁତା ହାରେ ।
ବୀଣା ପୁସ୍ତକ ରଞ୍ଜିତ ହସ୍ତେ,
ଭଗବତୀ ଭାରତୀ ଦେବୀ ନମସ୍ତେ ||
